Today is the 210 birth anniversary of Bhanu Bhakta Acharya. He translated the till then esoteric Ramayana from Sanskrit into Nepali for all Nepali speaking people. He was a writer, a poet and a translator. He is considered the first poet to write in the Nepali language and has been conferred the title of Adikavi. Rotary International embraces all cultures, castes, creeds, sexual orientation etc. We are a worldwide eclectic service organisation. We believe in fostering a sense of community.
