31/7/24 Our ongoing Wednesday Educational Tour for primary school children was a memorable day for 8 students of Zambuk Memorial Jr Basic School. They were accompanied by three of their teachers. The little boys and girls really had a fun day at the Rotary Centre. It was learning with fun. The lesson from the cartoon show they watched was not to cheat. Obviously there were bright smiles all around. The children were given basic computer knowledge. They were so happy and perky. I loved that they were carrying their own water bottles. All of them were dressed so smartly. Their trip to and fro from their school to the Centre was one of wonder. They were seeing the clock tower for the first time !! And the children’s park. We at Rotary Club of Kalimpong are extremely proud to be of service to our community at large. And yes, the customary Chocopie farewell was also carried out without fail #TheMagicOfRotary
