RC Kalimpong invites guest speakers at our RWM (regular weekly meeting) held every Thursday so as to make our meetings interesting and enjoyable. This week we had the very professional and highly qualified Rakesh Singh to talk about what we need to do in case of an emergency. Listening to him, I had a hollow pit in my stomach… We do not know how to function during a disaster. Our schools, homes and buildings do not follow safety standards. We have never had fire drills or earthquake drills … We are blase about such things.
