On the occasion of Saheed Diwas,Martyrs’ Day in the Hills by Gorkhas,Paying homage and tribute to the Martyrs to commemorate the grisly and cold-blooded massacre of 13 Gorkha men,women and children on the streets of Kalimpong ordered by Bengal’s ruling communists on this day 37 years ago on Sunday,the 27th July of 1986 also known as ,”Jallianwala Bagh”of the Gorkhaland Movement.Homage paid to the Martyr’s by Rotarian Sargent At Arms Siddhant Sood at Shahid Park,Kalimpong and President at B L Dixit Road.
