Rainwater Harvesting
For Kalimpong College.
The Project was visited by several people from around Kalimpong region over the months and the simple yet effective technique of Rainwater Harvesting was learned by them. As a result of this, even the Government Departments responsible for supply of water to the Public who, so far, were silently oblivious of the technique, have started putting it in their official scheme of things.
Sanitary Toilets
For 125 Years old Robertson Memorial Primary School.
The project has to large extent improved the sanitation and hygiene of the school. Students, who are mostly from economically challenged communities have learned to use modern sanitary system and have been able to spread the same in their own homes and villages.
